Trout are the most active from March through mid-June when the water temperature is the coolest.  Trout fishing slows in the summer months then picks up again in the fall, September-November.  

Striped bass, channel catfish, along with large mouth bass, pickerel, crappie and sunfish are more active in the warmer months of June through September.
